Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Ice Cream

 

Straight up Delicious!

 

I love food. Really, who doesn't love food? If you read my previous blogging attempts, you might know that my first professional avenue was culinary arts. I excelled in a two year program in high school & thought I would go to college for this as well. My brother & brother-in-law are both chefs. My family shows their love with food. Food is a big deal.

 

I am always looking to be creative with food, mainly to create healthier versions of things. (I call this "Bobbifying.") Have you tried the healthy chocolate pudding recipe I posted last year? It's really fantastic as long at your avocados are ripe. Under ripe avocados leave neon green chunks in your pudding & no one wants to eat that...

 

So, when I posted this Instagram picture & had people asking me left & right for the recipe, I knew I should share it with all of you!

 

This batch makes two servings. If you like more chocolate, then add more cocoa powder. If you like more peanut butter, add more. Also, sometimes the bananas need to take a 15 second zap in the microwave if they are a bit too hard, before you mix everything.

 

 

2 Frozen Bananas

1/4 Cup Peanut Butter

2 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder

 

 

Use a mixer or immersion blender to combine & enjoy!

 

I would be content never buying ice cream again & only making this. Ok, well I'd still eat Abbott's Frozen Custard up at the beach in Charlotte! ;)
